WHAT WE DO
At Waste Tech we believe that the environment must be
a number one priority when developing waste
management / recycling solutions. We have invested
time, effort and funds to extensive R&D, internally
funding several projects, and believe our methods and
proposals will form the most productive way to ensure
the best outcomes for recycling solutions.
We have developed significant technologies in sorting,
plastics recycling and waste to energy; we are driven by
practical means to find economic solutions, we design,
develop, construct and install equipment that can
revolutionise our industry. While the technical
coverage can seem quite targeted, our corporate
knowledge can be used as broadly as ones imagination
can take it.
Our passion is for maximum value added recycling,
developing the best way forward not just the easiest
way forward. We have the practical capability to
develop new, or modifying existing equipment to find
the most optimum solutions for a given opportunity.
Our point of difference to many others is that we are a
boutique company and have the agility to direct
resources to various projects that will make a practical
difference to the recycling industry for years to come.
MISSION STATEMENT
WE’RE THE FUTURE
We believe firmly in product stewardship, we aim to
assist industries prepare and execute strategies to
support the circular economy. Companies need to
develop products to ensure that it can be re-
purposed, re-used, recycled or recovered to support
the circular economy. We develop both small
practical solutions and large scale plant to ensure the
viability of recovery and recycling. We provide
practical solutions that people understand and can
make sound decisions on.
A major consideration in plastic recycling is the end
use of the material, which we believe should be of
greatest significance. We firmly believe that the
further development of the plastics recycling
capability here in Australia will ensure the local
materials collected from the CDS can be processed
and recycled locally.
With the past emphasis being on export of
waste/recyclables, this has meant exporting local
jobs as well; there has to be a greater commitment to
local recycling, local jobs and building our local
economy. We are currently working on several value
added recycling initiatives for other CDS collected
material. Some materials destined for a lower value
existing recycling tracks, can be recycled into much
more valuable resources, with the right knowledge
and commitment.
